Our History
Forest Marketing Group was formed in 2003 to manage 170,000 acres of Weyerhaeuser property in middle Tennessee. FMG’s goal was to provide land and timber management services on the 170,000 acres and build a premier timber marketing and harvesting service for smaller landowners in middle Tennessee.
Stacy Whitlow, CEO
Stacy Whitlow graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources. After college, he spent 5 years working for two large forest products companies, Champion Paper, and International Paper. He moved to Tennessee in October of 2003 to start Forest Marketing Group. He is an Alabama Registered Forester and a member of the Tennessee Forestry Association.
